Asilah

Asilah has one of the most beautiful old cities of Morocco, well preserved and ideally located along the cliffs towards the Atlantic Ocean, offering stunning panoramas to the sea.

Asilah's economy rests on fishing and trading of cereals, cattle, and sheep. Tourism is also an industry of Asilah, but it mainly caters to Moroccan travellers.

Asilah property

Asilah or Arzila is a city located on the northwest tip of Morocco.

The Phoenicians used the city as a trading location, and Asilah boasts a history back to 1500 B.C.

The Portuguese conquered the city during the 15th Century, but later decided to abandon it because of an economic crisis in 1549. In 1692, the town was taken back by the Moroccans. Betweeen 1912-1956 Asilah was a part of Spanish Morocco. Today a very popular tourist and property investment area.
