Al Hoceima is situated amidst the towering Rif Mountains and is a popular coastal city in Morocco. Being a young city, it doesn’t have myriads of monuments for sight seeing but it does offer sun, sand and tan apart from relaxation, spa, massage parlors and great cuisine. One of the popular beaches is the Plage Quemada. It is also called as Biya by the locals and is an important port town. Al Hoceima is the capital of the Taza-Al Hoceima-Taounate region.

The economy of Al Hoceima is dependent on tourism and in the last few years, it has seen a rise in tourism as well as real estate investments. A 400sqm Kasbah or farm house can cost you around € 35,000 while a 310sqm home will be available for approx. € 250,000.
